Learn the key elements necessary to build all your communication on. Use your voice, gestures, and movement to deliver your message more effectively to internal and external stakeholders.

3 MAKE IT STICK

 

Why are some messages remembered and others forgotten?  Whether it’s delivering to key stakeholders, driving a project forward, or selling a vision to employees, this session focuses on making your ideas unforgettable.

 

Use the SERVE model to deliver a message that is clear and concise, but most all memorable and influential.

4 ON THE STAGE

 

Business storytelling is about presenting a narrative with a strong connection that engages an audience, influencing them to act or feel differently about your message. It goes beyond facts and figures, enabling you to craft a compelling story that resonates with your audience on an emotional level.

 

In this session we will provide a clear framework of ideals and a concise set of actions for you to take complete control of your story, utilizing the 5 C’s of corporate storytelling.

Don't simply show your data—tell a story with it! This session shows you how to communicate effectively with data. We’ll look at the power of storytelling and the way to make data a pivotal point in your story.

 

We will use several real-world examples, ready for immediate application in your next presentation.  Storytelling is not always a natural skill, especially when it comes to data. This session demonstrates how to use data to create an engaging, informative, compelling story that will stick with your audience.

You’ve learned the theory, practiced the techniques.  Now it’s time to bring it all to the table.  You will run a meeting, listen intentionally, and ask critical questions, while telling a powerful story that shows the importance of data to drive action.

When we surveyed managers about executive conversations, 90% said these conversations are harder and 20% said that they are significantly harder. Executives are a tough audience. But luckily, they are also a predictable one.

 

This session provides a framework for organizing an executive-level conversation to deliver value and to lead an executive to a clear decision.

2 INFLUENTIAL ANSWERS TO TOUGH QUESTIONS

 

When presenting to executives, you will face difficult questions. In this session we will help you turn tough questions into positive opportunities. Using the RANGE model, you will be able to handle questions, no matter how challenging, aggressive, tricky, or unfair the question.

Through examples and role-plays you will learn how to answer difficult questions in a more positive, solution-oriented way.

3 ADD MEANING TO DATA

 

Recent surveys with executives have revealed a recurring theme when presenting numbers. Numbers need context, and so do executives! When executives have context around numbers, data becomes impactful and useful to them. 

 

In this session, we will look at strategies and techniques to add meaning to your data and make it a valuable resource in growing your influence.

4 INTO THE BOARDROOM

 

You learned the theory, practiced the techniques.  Now it’s time to bring it all together. 

 

You will deliver a presentation, face challenging questions, and drive for a commitment in a role-play that will push your newly learned skills to the limit.
